Panaderia Victoria was founded in 2006 by a Mexican-born couple. It is named after Ciudad Victoria (Victoria City), Tamaulipas, Mexico, the hometown of one of the original founders. Today, it is a great example of a small business that is woman-led, woman-owned and that primarily services the local Hispanic community.
Our long time head baker has created the signature taste and style of our bread, one that is loved by many in our surrounding area. Some even drive from other local cities! Unlike other local Mexican bakeries, all of our bread is created by a small team of 2-3 people. Our small team puts an amazing effort forth to create quality products. Depending on the bread, one batch can take a few hours prepare, including mixing, shaping, and/or decorating the dough, but not including the time it is given to rise or cook.
We try to have a variety of traditional Mexican sweet bread available at all times, but given that we do have a small team and are in a small locale, that can be difficult at times. During the winter, demand is considerably higher. We are not a factory. Thank you for your business, understanding and support.
